Ideally situated backing onto the main motel strip in the Hospital Precinct on one of Bundaberg’s most charming tree lined streets, the property features two bedrooms both air-conditioned. One room is set up with a King Bed that can be split into 2 x single beds while the other room features 1 Queen bed. The property is fully fenced with driveway space for 2 cars plus accommodation for larger vehicles if required off street. Use of the motel pool is permitted for guests of this house.
The Space:
This charming home interior is upstairs with balconies on both the front and back of the house facing North & South which is the aspect you are after in the Bundy Region. French doors from the front balcony provides you access directly into the lounge room also allowing excellent natural airflow.
The second bedroom can sleep 4 guests, but the default set up is a King Bed. (Bedding arranged at time of booking). The King Bed can be split into 2 x King Singles and can accommodate another 2 x Single Beds in this room making a great family room. The main bedroom offers a Queen bed and a higher quality mattress. Both Bedrooms are kept cool/warm by reverse cycle Air-conditioning and a Ceiling Fan as well as clothes racks and a charging station on the bedside tables.
The lounge room is set up with 2 comfortable couches facing a 50” Panasonic TV with Chromecast connected to allow Netflix, YouTube and more to be streamed from your own device via NBN WIFI. From the lounge room you have access to the spacious kitchen which comes equipped with a full range of; Plates, Bowls, Cutlery & Cooking utensils as well as plenty of bench space to prep up meals using the recently updated fridge & microwave. The attached dining area has an extendable 6 seater dining table. The bathroom with separate toilet is located between the 2 bedrooms and features a large shower and includes the laundry with tub and front loader washing machine. Alternatively use the table on the back balcony to enjoy some fresh Northerly air with your meal while enjoying the view of the pool which you will have access to use.
This property is continually being upgraded and well maintained and is cleaned by professional motel cleaners.

Guest Access:
Guests will have full access to the; kitchen, bathroom, lounge and outside the house, however the storage area underneath the house is locked off for owner use. The available bedrooms will be dependent on how many guests have booked the property (see house rules below), additional rooms can be made available on request, additional fees of $25 per room, per night will apply. Guests also have access to the Pool of the Oscar Motel with easy access through the back-yard gate. We have onsite storage for boats or caravans with prior arrangement.
The Neighborhood:
Our neighborhood is a mix of small businesses, eateries and residential. We are also very close to the medical precincts and Alexandra Park where you can take a relaxing stroll along the river walks and visit Bundaberg’s very interesting little zoo. The central business district and shopping center are within walking distance or a short drive away.
Getting Around:
Being right in the heart of Bundaberg, after a nice 13 minute stroll you will find yourself browsing the many shops, cafes and restaurants in our CBD, There is a regular bus service which stops right outside the Oscar Motel and we are close to the Bundaberg Railway Station.
Other Things to Note:
We are pet friendly subject to approval of the pet by us and rules apply.
There is a Pet Fee of $15/per pet, per night for approved pets as outside only
There is a Pet Fee of $30/per pet, per night for approved pets inside the listin, however this is only if they are a Non-Shedding breed.
If a pet is found to be on the premises without approval a $100 fee will be charged and acceptance of this booking acknowledges this.
There will be a $25 fee charged if keys are not returned as per booking instructions.
The property is managed by motel managers and is professionally cleaned by motel cleaners. Our linen is supplied and washed by a commercial laundry.
With prior arrangement we have onsite storage for boats or caravans.
Although we try to accommodate alteration requests, please be advised we do not allow "rescheduling" of the Check-in date by a difference of more than 14 days.
Interaction with Guests:
We will be available if there are any issues or concerns that arise, but otherwise we are quite happy to have a hands-off approach to allow guests to enjoy their holiday as they please
