Summary: Very large and spacious rooms. It was overall well maintained and kept clean. Two bedrooms, a large living room, a separate kitchen with limited utensils. It was a furnished apartment style. Worth the pay and stay. It was 5-7 minutes drive to downtown and we were glad we picked this one over the regular hotels. Costco, Walmart everything within reach. They didn’t have an onsite breakfast and restaurant due to winter season. But, all restaurants, grocery stores and miscellaneous activities were within driving distance. The front desk staff was very friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and helpful in making our short travel within Fairbanks a pleasant experience. They provided great recommendations on local restaurants, where to go to see the northern lights, and places of interest. Being first time visitors, we blindly followed their recommendations and it sure it meet our expectations. May be we didn’t get the right room during our stay and the only concern we had was people walking way too often in the room above ours. Kept us wondering what possibly were they doing walking entire evening until late night. The hotel staff said they can’t swap the room because we booked through hotel.com.
