Summary: As a family of 6 adults, we just spent a wonderful week at Villa Ágios Matthaíos. The house is beautiful and the garden and pool area are absolutely stunning, the pool is large and clean. Everything is very well kept up with many lovely little details.There is a lot of room and plenty of shade so everyone can always find the perfect spot. The location of the house could not be better, it is a mere 5 minute walk to one of the nicest little beaches on Corfu, which has a tavern with a fantastic view of the ocean and the nightly sunsets. The area is quiet and away from the main tourist centers and hotels, which was exactly what we wanted. Katerina and Ioannis were very helpful before and throughout our stay, and we are especially grateful that they encouraged us to come despite the fires that were active in the north of the island at the time and our concerns. It would have been a shame to miss the chance to stay at this little paradise. We will surely come back, hopefully sometime soon.
