One of Brisbane’s oldest and most charismatic suburbs, Paddington has a distinctive heritage vibe and a cottage lifestyle that is loved by professionals, families and students alike.
Perhaps it’s due to its Italian heritage, but people from all over Brisbane flock to Paddington for good food. Whether it is an organic breakfast, a boozy lunch or sophisticated dining, locals and visitors love to eat here. Shopping is also a local pastime, with Given Terrace lined with speciality shops and boutiques, and La Trobe Terrace a Mecca for antique, second-hand and vintage lovers.

My favourite bars are Hope & Anchor and Kettle and Tin for small, intimate atmospheres and a great selection of cocktails.
My favourite restaurants are Grappino for authentic, upmarket Italian and Sichuan Bang Bang for modern Chinese food. Fundies Café also offers really good quality and delicious organic and wholefood menus, including gluten-free and dairy-free options.
Try Il Locale Italian Restaurant for awesome home delivered pizzas! They are reeeaaalllly good.
Further down the road (probably a drive or Uber), is one of Brisbane’s best French restaurants, Lutece Bistro and Wine Bar. Very elegant and top quality food.
For quality coffee spots, Tall Short is good and just around the corner (literally 10m walk).
Outside of Paddington, try the new food precinct in King Street and renowned James Street, both around Fortitude Valley.

There is an off-street car port included with this property (can fit two cards in tandem), but there is a wide range of public transport nearby, including Milton Train Station, or multiple bus stops on Given Terrace.
