Our large Queenslander home (built in the 1950s) is cool, comfortable and has inspiring views of the mountains. This family home is spacious and guests have access to a modern kitchen, laundry facilities, lounge, and a large timber deck overlooking a tropical garden.
With three bathrooms and six bedrooms, this large and very comfortable home can easily accommodate up to 10 people without us feeling crowded.
The home is well positioned only 4 km from the CBD, 2 minutes' walk to public transport and 5 minutes' walk to a large shopping centre where you can purchase just about anything you need. Guests have easy access to street parking. The airport is a short 15-20 minute drive (depending on traffic) and transfers to and from the airport can often be arranged.
We are long time residents in Cairns and we are happy to share our local knowledge, stories, and home with you. I am a psychologist (currently working from home) and Kerry is a retired engineering surveyor / cartographer and visual artist.
Our upstairs deck overlooks a leafy green garden, has views of the mountains, and is a great place for dinner and a glass of wine while enjoying the cool of the evening.

This room is large and provides very comfortable for three people. It has a comfortable queen sized bed and a single. It also gets plenty of natural light and cool breezes. The bathroom is shared only with my 15 year old daughter.
