A vine-draped pergola shades the dining patio and a high stone wall makes 'Phoebe' a private little haven. There's a gated parking area which doubles as a secure play area. The beach is close, so it's great to go for several dips a day - take a stroll in the morning, past the bakery (the smell of fresh bread is irresistible); grab a pastry, and as your route is straight down the historic main street between the end of our little lane and the castle, you can also collect a coffee at Filio's and have breakfast on the beach with the clear waters of the Ionian Sea lapping at your toes.
