The living room is spacious and has a a day/trundle bed for additional seating, and queen murphy bed that is stored in a wall unit for easy access. The same open space is used for the kitchen and dining room, with a cathedral ceiling.
Located on an acre and a half of a bed and breakfast property where you can view the northern lights in the winter, and beautiful sunsets and sunrises in the summer. The penthouse also has two doors; a main entrance into the living room and a back door off the master bedroom which also has a deck.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a full size refrigerator, four burner stove/oven, microwave, Keurig coffee pot, coffeepot, toaster, as well as flatware, dishes, pots and pans to cook with.
Nice walking trails surround this neighborhood. Seasonally, there are cross country ski trails just up the hill at the University of Alaska Fairbanks,. In the summer we have canoes and kayaks to borrow to float the Chena River which is right across the street.
