Positive: We had a mixed experience staying here and arranging hikes/transport with Eric. On the positive side, once we were finally checked in, the place itself was fine and comfortable, and Eric is friendly and well-intentioned.

Negative: Unfortunately, the logistics and timing were a recurring issue and caused a lot of unnecessary stress. Despite confirming arrival times via WhatsApp, there was no one to check us in when we arrived. The next day, pickup from the hike was about 45 minutes late. More importantly, on our early mountain hike day, we were told the night before to expect a 6:00 am pickup (original plan was 5:00), but Eric only arrived at 7:00 am. We waited outside in the dark and cold for over an hour and missed the sunrise we had planned the hike around. For the return, additional people were added to the car, and we were dropped off after them, which caused us to miss our bus from Puebla — despite having clearly communicated our schedule that morning. Overall, the experience felt disorganised, with repeated delays and last-minute changes. While the atmosphere is friendly and the location is good, I would strongly recommend this place only if you are very flexible with timing and don’t have tight plans.
