This cabin is located on an AUTHENTIC and active Homestead. Self check-in at this two bedroom cabin using hand crafted lumber, built and harvested by the Pioneers of Wrangell Mountain Homestead. Rough around the edges this cabin has hot running water, and electricity, this hidden gem of Alaskan history is a great resting spot before you carry on your adventure to Wrangell St Elias National Park, Chitina for fishing, Kennecott near McCarthy for exploration, or Valdez for the stunning views. Although rough around the edges this quaint, cute, and serene cabin is private and comfortable. Offering everything you need, a home away from home! Aesthetic damage is visible in the downstairs tub and sink, Glacier cabin is a work in progress and our price reflects this! Our improvement over time is your great deal. We ask that you treat the cabin and the space as if it was your own. Please contact me via Airbnb or the cellphone provided for any questions or concerns. Located on 320 acres of private Homestead, Glacier Cabin has it's own parking space, front and back yard, and other private cabins on either side of it. You can bike, walk, run, and pace on the trails available. But please no motorized vehicles. A fine will be charged of upwards of $500 for motorized vehicles on trails. For vehicles please stick to the dirt roads. The stove takes a moment for the pilot light to trigger, so don't be concerned if it takes longer than normal!
