Big south-facing windows fill the house with Alaska light, and the large deck is made for slow mornings and long evenings — coffee, sunshine, and wide-open quiet. You will often see eagles, cranes, and float planes overhead, and moose frequently travel through the area, especially in spring. Keep your phone ready — there is no shortage of photo moments here.
