Positive: We loved the location and the view from the verandah. The verandah itself was spacious with an 8 seater table. Each room having its own ensuite was a major plus. The property was easy to access and all on one level. The undercover secure parking for 2 cars was excellent. A side path leads down to the quiet beach in about 30 seconds. Kitchen facilities are above average, and the open lounge, dining, kitchen area is very spacious. The Cheeky Dog pub and the Soldiers Point Bowling Club are within minutes walk. A short walk up a track near the jetty to the Sailing Club and you have great coffee. Fishing your thing? The beach and the jetty offer plenty of spots.

Negative: Key pickup and drop off is a bit of a pain being in Nelson Bay.

Summary: Fabulous property in excellent location.
