Positive: Villa Fanari was perfect for our group of 5 women on holiday in Kefalonia! The villa felt incredibly safe and private, tucked inside a gated walled garden. Easy parking directly outside and a secure key box meant we didn't have to carry keys when we went off for the day. The pool and comfy sun loungers were a blessing! Inside the villa (split into two buildings) was very spacious with two shower rooms, two large bedrooms and a generous kitchen. Although we didn't eat a single meal inside as there was a lovely outdoor dining table under a covered veranda. The villa is up a dirt track directly from Fanari Beach (although we didn't go there as there are far nicer coves on the island) and two basic beach bars. To walk into Argostoli town takes around 20/30mins and is a lovely stroll along the water - keep an eye out for turtles!! We would book again if we were to return to Kefalonia!

Negative: The only slight problems were the intermittent wifi (which didn't matter too much as we were on holiday but meant it was sometimes tricky to book restaurants etc) and the lack of signage/directions to the villa. The directions online are not great and the villa doesn't show up on sat nav so we went round in circles a few times before we found it. There is also no sign saying Villa Fanari to be seen so it took a bit of guesswork.
