If you’re looking for a sea change or a tree change, this home is the perfect combination of both. Located close to Alexandra headland, this house is the best place for a much-needed seaside stay. You will love the Japanese inspired leafy, sunlit backyard with its own alfresco area. Each of the 3 bedrooms has a tasteful interior, designed with comfort in mind. This home makes holidaying more relaxing than ever and the hardest part of staying here will be packing your bags to leave!
As you enter through the front gate, you feel like you are entering a hidden oasis, even though you are in the heart of Alexandra Headland. The relaxed ambience in the front courtyard of the home sets the tone for what is to come in the rest of this generously appointed property.
Open the front door and you’re in a large sunlit entrance; and the first thing you'll notice is the calming Japanese-style water feature to set the atmosphere. To the left is the main living area, with enough room on the spacious lounge for everyone to relax and have a wine (or two). Enjoy lively conversation, or just sit and be mesmerised as you gaze into the fire place. Perfect for those winter nights when you just want to chill with friends or family.
The well- equipped kitchen extends to an open plan living area complete with a super-comfy couch, armchair and large smart TV . There is also a separate dining area off the kitchen which can seat 6; another spot to relax over a meal with friends or family, overlooking the Japanese water-feature. Off the hallway are the first 2 bedrooms (King and Queen) and a modern bathroom with a large walk-in shower (and separate toilet). Continue down the hallway to the very private main bedroom, which has a large resort-style ensuite with a spa bath, roomy shower with double shower heads and double vanity.
From the main bedroom you can open the sliding door straight onto a private courtyard, perfect for two to sit and relax with a morning coffee, or
catch glimpses of the setting sun in the afternoons under a sprinkling of fairy-lights.
For those that need to squeeze in a little bit of work in between relaxing and enjoying all the Sunshine Coast has to offer, there is a dedicated workspace with a generous-sized desk. Or if you just feel the need to escape for a moment or two, grab a book from the shelf, and enjoy the comfortable reclining leather reading chair which has a lovely view to the side yard.
Outside!
Despite being right in the heart of Alexandra Headland, the backyard feels secluded and peaceful; where you can just relax and shut the world away. You are spoilt for options as to your choice of relaxation vantage point from the covered Zen gazebo overlooking the fish pond, to the step-down fire-pit, where you can entertain with friends on those perfect balmy winter nights we are known for in Queensland.
For those that like to have the option to prepare a meal at home, you can enjoy a BBQ with a separate undercover outdoor seating area and dining for at least six (or more) located directly off the kitchen and living area. The perfect space to entertain at home.

Alexandra Headland, known by the locals as 'Alex', is a coastal town situated on Queensland's Sunshine Coast. The township has a relaxed and laid back atmosphere that complements the soothing rolling surf and inviting beaches. Alexandra Headland is also ringed by Mooloolaba, Buderim and Maroochydore with a superb coastal sweep to the north and bush foothills to the west.
Alexandra Headland's main attraction is its magnificent coastal frontage of beach, headland and parks extending for kilometres north and south. The swimming beach is patrolled by the Alexandra Headland Surf Club. On any day, visitors can enjoy watching the surfers, or better yet join them. There are many places to sign up for surf lessons and rent boards. For the skaters and bikers, there is an outdoor skate park right alongside the beach. Also provided are picnic and barbecue facilities; so why not enjoy lunch on the barbie with family and friends.
While Alexandra Headland has maintained its small town charm, it is only minutes from major Sunshine Coast shopping centres and attractions.
For those wishing to explore and experience all the wonderful and exciting
adventures to be enjoyed on the Sunshine Coast, you are located in the perfect spot to either walk or take a short drive to most attractions.
Serenity in Alex is just a short stroll (a kilometre to the beach) through the Alex Forest direct to the patrolled beach and Alexandra Headland Surf Club, where you can enjoy a drink and nibbles at the outdoor bar overlooking the surf, or grab breakfast or a meal upstairs in the restaurant. A leisurely 10 minute stroll over the “bluff”, and you are on the Esplanade at Mooloolaba, with all the cafes, restaurants and boutique shopping on offer. At the other end of the Esplanade you can take in the vista of Mooloolaba Beach from the Surf Club, or stroll around the corner to the
Wharf Precinct, with a multitude of restaurants and shops, and of course, the local Underwater World attraction.
From your home-base in Alex you can take a relaxing 30-45 minute drive and be in either the Hinterland of Maleny/Mapleton/Flaxton, or the world-famous Noosa Beach, with all its shopping, restaurants, and of course the beach.
Another highlight, and not to be missed, and a quick ½ hour drive down Steve Irwin Way, and you can experience all that the world-famous Australia Zoo has to offer.
Once you have exhausted the kids at Australia Zoo, you can plan your next
adventure at either the Tree-Tops Challenge….a high-ropes course located right next door to the Big Pineapple attraction, just off the Bruce Highway at Palmwoods.
For those wanting to reward themselves with a spot of rum or gin tasting, there are a couple of options on offer, also right next door to the Big Pineapple.
Further afield you can be in the lovely rural township if Kenilworth, and take the challenge of the famous 1kg donut…people regularly drive from Brisbane just to go to the Kenilworth Bakery.
Closer to home, and literally just around the corner, less than 3 minutes walk, is the local boutique brewery of 10 Toes. They are a favourite spot for locals and visitors alike, open for an enjoyable “beverage” or a snack to go with the great ales on offer.
Restaurant Options:
In Alex we are spoilt for choice with regard to cafes and restaurants, with the local
Indian and Thai restaurants highly recommended, and just down the road opposite the beach on Aerodrome Road. Another little gem is the French Patisserie on the corner of Okinja Road (less than 1km away)…with sooooo many delectable delights
on offer.
Mooloolaba, as you would expect, has any number of cafes and restaurants, with the multiple award-winning Augello's Ristorante & Pizzeria and Bella Venezia
Restaurant & Bar just to mention a couple.
