Best for a couple or a single person, however there is a pull out sofa for extra persons. This stylish pet friendly one bedroom cottage is tucked away 300m to the surf beach at Mudjimba. The mature trees shade the so private, 1.8m high fully fenced and secure garden area, for you and your pets. The little deck area with outdoor bar, is north facing and the cottage is light filled. There is free wifi. There is off-street parking for 2 cars end to car and small caravan or trailer or surf ski.
The lovely king bed has an expensive deep mattress and in the lounge there are 2 pull out sofa beds - a single and a double. Four people (including children) are permitted but the for longer times, for your comfort, the cottage is most ideal for a couple or a single person but there is a pull out sofa are in the lounge area. The cottage is fully airconditioned and has fans. The TV is a 55 inch smart TV with DVD player.
The village has a unique laid back surf beach with a mix of surfers, wealthy people and not so wealthy - respectful and friendly - and dog mad. One of the last remaining relatively unspoiled areas of the Sunshine Coast. Great bike tracks.
Council buses pass close by (200m away is the stop) up to Coolum and Noosa and also south to Maroochydore. Sunshine Coast airport is only 5 kms away. Public transport from Brisbane is woeful but you can always catch a (private) shuttle from Brisbane airport or the Transit Centre in the CBD in Roma St
There is a stove, cook top, dishwasher, and a microwave - there is a gas Weber Q BBQ outside. The bathroom/laundry is spacious. Bed linen and towels are provided... if you want floofy towels bring your own as our towels are chosen for quick drying..
Pets are allowed inside and all areas are tiled. There is no extra charge for your pets and you are allowed up to 3 of any size or breed.
The cottage is one of 2 cottages at 18 Currawong St Mudjimba (one behind the other but quite separately fenced and private, and with separate access to each). The other larger 3 bedroom cottage in the front is Mudjimba Beach House.
The cottages are 250 m to the local eateries of unspoiled Mudjimba Beach and the cafes are dog friendly and the locals very welcoming. Further west about 2 kms away from the cottages in neighbouring Pacific Paradise are a Coles, chemist, bottle shop, Dominos, doctors, physios, dentists, and other delights.
Dogs allowed off lease about 2km down the surf beach and on lease on the front main beach and parks. An extensive bike track and a still water dog off-leash area in the nearby Maroochy River - go south down the esplanade about 2 kms and turn left at North Rd and drive about 1km to the end. Fabulous.
Mudjimba has the Coles 2 kms away with all the other shops and services you would expect for convenience but the area where the cottage is close to the beach, has a cnovenience stor, coffee shops, surf shop, Italian restaurant and the High Tide bar (friendly locals hang out there Friday and Sunday afternoon). Mudjimba is really a bit of a local secret with state forests surrounding it and only infill development possible.

My pet friendly cottages all allow dogs inside and we charge no extra cleaning fee (apart from the general exit clean). Pets are allowed on sofas etc and we provide coverings (look in the TV cabinet) to protect the sofas. All cottages have secure fencing (as we have lived in all of these cottages ourselves and our dogs are escape artists).
We expect our guests to have their pets' vaccinations and health checks up to date for their pets as they would if going into kennels.
