Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Location was very convenient. We walked the 40 minutes from the airport through a beautiful countryside, surrounded by olive trees and vineyards. The taxi into the city was very affordable and the location was only a 20 minute walk from the beach. Our room was large, inviting, and clean, with a complete bathroom and a balcony. We couldn't figure out how to turn on the TV, but after a long evening in the city we were happy to pass out on the comfortable queen size bed. We slept well with the blackout blinds and woke up to the sound of a rooster crowing and birds chirping. Quaint, idyllic, and lovely!

Negative: Too far from the city to do anything besides hire transportation or take a taxi. We visited during the off season so most of the nearby attractions and restaurants had closed, which was fine (less tourists and crowds!). The bathroom is due for an update- the sink drain is old and rusted and the shower could use renovating, but everything worked perfectly despite that.
