Full of old charm and warmth this home is perfect for making memories with family and friends.
The Balcony views reach as far as the eye can see and close enough to count the fisherman on the Moonta Jetty.
Turn right to Moonta Jetty and Splash Town water park for free fun for kids
Head left and you will discover the bays and cliff top walks to the Port Hughs Jetty and Hotel.
Inside this home......
This beautiful home was built in 1900. It was the Light House Keepers Inn . The remains of the lighthouse can still be seen from the front balcony as you look out to sea.
Enter through the back door where you will find a lobby where you can hang your coats, sunhats and snorkels.
There is one Bathroom off the lobby and a Laundry cupboard with a sink ,washing machine and clothes dryer installed.
At the end of the Lobby you step down into the formal dining room and through to air conditioned Kitchen at the rear of the house.
Towards the front of the home there is a central hallway .There are three lower bedrooms , a king bed , 2 king singles and a smaller side room with a single bed and trundle . Heading Up the 3 stairs in the main hallway there is a large lounge with an air conditioner and another bedroom with a king size bed.
The views from the balcony are endless and peaceful.
Enjoy a glass of wine or a cup of tea in the winter sun.
There is an outside bathroom also available with a shower and toilet .
There is ample parking on the side block of the property
Guests can access all areas of the home
In Moonta town there is a Drakes supermarket open until 8.00pm mon -sun
There are various restaurants and lots of little cafes and Bakeries. Craft shops and op-shops.
Fashion and homewares
There are 4 Hotels across Moonta and Port Hughs, beautiful Churches and free public tennis courts.
Port Hughs has a lovely golf club 5 minutes from the home.
Great Fishing off the Jetty and various fishing charters to choose from.
The beach is tidal and safe .... not too many big waves.
Mum and Dad can watch the older children from the balcony of Rossiters House.
During Winter storms this Home takes on a new charm, watching the rain come across and tinker or rumble across the tin roof is wonderful.
Especially if you are cosy inside with a heated throw and a cup of Tea.
