THE SPACE
A large home that sleeps 6 people, this gorgeous home features three bedrooms on the entry level, all with queen beds and luxury French flat linen doonas for you to sink into. The front two bedrooms enjoy their own private deck for you to enjoy a morning cuppa or an evening night cap
Up a flight of stairs, the middle level features the lovely dining space with views to the beautiful backyard and bushland. Here you will also find the large bathroom, internal laundry, and side access to the house
Only a few more stairs to take you to the top level which opens into the bright and airy large open plan living and kitchen. The perfect setting for entertainment, this gorgeous light-filled space flows out onto a generous deck where you will want to perch forever with a beverage, take in the breathtaking sea views and breathe in the fresh coastal air
The backyard area is easily accessible from the house and features a covered private pergola, where the local abundant wildlife of wallabies and birds will often pop by for a visit
THE AREA
ORANA is only a five-minute walk to the iconic Hat Head Creek. Cross over the footbridge and in ten minutes, you arrive at Hat Head Beach
In the warmer months, immerse yourself in the Hat head lifestyle where the only uniform required is swimmers, boardies and thongs. Take advantage of the natural beauty of Korogoro Creek at high tide and float the entire creek. Snorkel the pristine waters, keeping an eye out for fish and all sorts of wonderful sea life which reside on the natural rock wall at the entrance of the creek
For those with energy to burn, hikes abound! Enjoy Korogoro and Connors walking tracks, where a moderate walk will take you through the coastal rainforest, scenic coastal views and lead you to secluded pristine beaches. Back at ORANA, rinse off under the outdoor shower, and pop on the kettle or open a cold one
During the winter months, the weather in Hat Head is mild so you can enjoy a coastal walk along Hat Head beach or venture out and visit neighboring villages such as Gladstone, which hosts popular monthly markets on the riverbank, South West Rocks with its historic Trial Bay Gaol and cafes is only a thirty-minute drive away.
