The apartment on the first floor consists of a double bedroom, a shower room, a fully equipped open kitchen (ceramic hob, convection oven, fridge-freezer, coffee maker, washing machine) and a large living room with open roof and fireplace , On a gallery there is a second double bed and a single bed. This apartment belongs to a south-facing balcony, a covered west-facing terrace on the first floor, as well as an outdoor terrace with a gazebo.
Our house was completed in spring 2004. After a few years in which we only use the house, we can offer the two apartments again for a relaxing holiday. It is built in a typical way and provided with a modern functional furnishings. From the windows and terraces there are wonderful views of the Pagasitic Gulf (as far as Volos), the village of Lafkos or green, rolling hills.
Shopping: In addition to the small shops in Lafkos (bakery, groceries, post office etc.) there is a larger supermarket in Argalasti (8 km away). There is every Saturday market. The city of Volos offers rich shopping. There are not many supermarkets, there are several times a week and a really big and cheaper market instead.
How to get there: 1. There are flights from some airports directly to Volos! Then it's just an hour's drive to the holiday! Second flight to Thessaloniki, then with a car on good roads (205 km highway, then 56 km highway) in about 4 hours drive to the house. Third Flight to Thessaloniki, then by express bus to Volos. From there continue by bus, taxi or car. 4th Flight to Skiathos, then translate to Platania. From there by bus, taxi or car 10 km to the house. 5th By ferry to Igoumenitsa or Patras. 6th It is therefore possible to drive through the former Yugoslavia.
