Summary: We loved staying at Corazon Del Rio! Our favorite was the short trail to the waterfall and refreshing swimhole, what a treat! With the daily heat and humidity, it was so nice to be able to cool off there. The beds were comfy, good water pressure in the showers, nice kitchen with all we needed. We loved the location too, spent the day at Playa Matapalo, great locals beach that the owners recommended in the detailed book you get on checkin. Enjoyed Nauyaca falls too, so many waterfalls nearby to explore. Would highly recommend this! Make sure you have 4 wheel drive though, the road to the house would be impassable otherwise. We also loved shopping for food at the Elizabeth 2 shop in Platanillo, so convenient, had everything we needed too.
