3 Bedroom House in Ball Bay, Coral Sea

Three bedroom beach front home at beautiful Ball Bay, nestled between Cape Hillsborough where the wallabies gather on the beach and Haliday Bay where the golfers enjoy the golf resort. Walk in robe and ensuite bathroom from main bedroom and second toilet in laundry area. Unspoilt beach with lots of birdlife in the area. Fishing off the beach or in your boat, it is all there in this small piece of paradise surrounded by National Park. Just relax on the verandah and view the base of the Whitsunday islands out front or else indulge in a good book as there aren't any coffee shops in this village, just holiday makers and residents enjoying the tranquility. There is a local bowls club nearby if that interests you and the large town of Mackay is 30mins. away by car, otherwise the town of Seaforth is a 5 minute drive.
For the children, swimming enclosures are located at Seaforth and also 5 mins. away at Haliday Bay where there is also the golf resort. Turtle hatching is a must see in the early hours during the Summer months.

Bedroom one has a queen size bed, bedroom 2 a double bed and bedroom 3 queen size. Rates are for 2 people but a maximum of 6 is allowed at extra cost. Linen is provided, however bring your own bath and beach towels

Summary: We only stayed 1 of the 3 nights due to the weather, as the creek was almost over the road and we were worried of being stuck. The place has a great verandah. From one bedroom you exit through the bathroom or out to the verandah, so a bit of an odd setup. It is quite dated, but clean & spacious with air con in 2 bedrooms. The only downside for us travelling from interstate was we had to bring towels for 4 of us,taking up room in our bags. Communication was great & a peaceful spot if you just want some peace & quiet.
