The Space:
Enter the property into a large paved courtyard featuring an in-ground swimming pool surrounded by a clear glass safety fence. A couple of banana lounges and a little outdoor table are on hand, as well as an outdoor shower. Stylish wooden steps lead up to a covered alfresco patio with a table for 4 people and a wet bar offering a barbecue that’s connected to the mains, a fridge and water taps. Entry into the house is via the front door or large glass sliding doors that bring you into a spacious, open-plan kitchen/living area with ducted reverse-cycle aircon and polished blackbutt floorboards throughout. The living space has a modular lounge suite that seats 6 people comfortably, a couple of occasional chairs, a huge wall-mounted smart TV, ceiling fan and a rug for winter comfort. A round dining table seats 4 people while the kitchen comes with marble benchtops, an island bench, a 5-burner gas cooktop, 2 electric ovens and a 4-door family sized fridge. Just off the kitchen you’ll find a butler’s pantry with more marble bench space, another fridge, microwave oven and Bosch dishwasher. There’s also a bar area with a wine fridge by the front door. The bathroom on this floor is beautifully tiled and offers toilet and a large shower recess with a frameless frosted/corrugated glass screen. Nearby you’ll find a dedicated laundry room providing a Bosche front-loader washing machine and Bosch dryer.
A flight of stairs takes you upstairs, featuring the same stylish blackbutt timber flooring throughout. The house’s 4 bedrooms are on this level, all with ducted reverse-cycle aircon and ceiling fans. The master bedroom comes with a king-sized bed, a roomy walk-in wardrobe and an ensuite bathroom with stylish stone tiling on the floor and walls, a floating bathtub and a double shower recess with the same frosted/corrugated glass screen as the downstairs bathroom. This master bedroom also has doors leading out to a private balcony with an outdoor sofa, 2 armchairs and views of the pool and Burleigh Waters beyond. The house’s other 3 bedrooms all have queen-sized beds, plantation shutters and built-in wardrobes with loads of space for longer stays. There’s also a 2nd living area on this level, with an L-shaped sofa, a large wall mounted smart TV, ducted reverse-cycle aircon, a ceiling fan and plantation shutters. The upstairs bathroom comes beautifully appointed with stone floor and wall tiling, its own floating bath and large shower recess. A separate toilet is right next to this bathroom, with its own basin area.
The Neighborhood:
Situated on Queensland’s beautiful Gold Coast between Surfers Paradise and Coolangatta, Burleigh Waters offers world class beaches and surf breaks against a lush national park backdrop. The house itself is perfectly located, walking distance to Burleigh Lake, Burleigh Beach, a great choice of eateries and the Burleigh Farmer’s Market – all 10 minutes walk away or less. Burleigh Arts and Crafts on the Coast takes place on the last Sunday of every month, also a stroll from the house, while the Burleigh Heads National Park and the Gold Coast Recreation Precinct Centre are both under 30 minutes on foot (or a few minutes by car. Surfers Paradise is 20 minutes by car, with Dreamworld, Sea World and Movie World all only half an hour’s drive away.
Getting Around:
The house comes with a garage for 1 vehicle and provides direct access to the house. There’s also room for 2 more cars in the driveway. For guests who prefer public transport, buses service the area.
Other Things to Note:
* Due to strict no noise no party policies in Strata buildings or local council by laws we will be enforcing the NO PARTY NO NOISE POLICY - This will mean that we will be able to force an eviction if these terms are breached. If this is the case we hold the right to hold on security deposit and booking amount for compensation for the purpose of any damage, missing keys and potential penalties from the body corporate or local government authority.
* An additional $40 will be charged to your total if a check-in happens after 8 pm, and we require your arrival time as the Concierge does not live on site.
* A mandatory full clean of the property and complete linen change will be done every 4 weeks and added to your total booking amount for any booking longer than a month. This will be added to your total amount and processed separately.
*If you are eligible for a full refund as per our cancellation policy, a processing fee of $50 still applies.
*After check-in, if you choose to shorten your stay, you will receive a 50% refund of the unused nights of your booking.
